Daniel Bolt raised in Willis, VA has always had a big heart for bluegrass. It didn't take long for the "Bluegrass Bug" to bite by the age of 13. Dan's dream came true when the Bolt Brothers played with Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley on stage.
One of the biggest rewards of playing bluegrass is seeing people appreciate your music and folks having a good time says Dan. There's no better feeling than entertaining people.
Aside from music, Dan, enjoys woodworking and restoring Early Century Hit & Miss Engines. The Lord has been good to me. He has given me a great deal of things in life to enjoy.
When Dan isn't playing music or working on old engines he runs Hollybrook Mulch Trucking Inc., a business his dad started in 1980.
